About Us KW Automation is a manufacturers representative. A manufacturers representative is an outsourced sales and marketing organization. Typically, a manufacturers representative is the lowest cost sales channel to penetrate a territory for a principal since the sales costs are spread out over several manufacturers. KW Automation uses a strategic planning model in which to position the organization. The vision, company resources and industry situation form the basis for the company strategy. From the company strategy, we formulate the company mission, principles and objectives. ![]() VISION Our vision is to be the factory direct sales channel of choice for machine components and solutions for MANA territory 17. MANA stands for Manufacturers Agents National Association and defines typical sales coverage territories based on geography and sales potential. STRATEGY The basic strategy of KW Automation is to use market research both locally and internationally, analyzing the forces acting on the industry, leverage our internal resources and select synergistic manufacturers as our partners. A manufacturers representative is typically the lowest cost method to penetrate OEM accounts by outsourcing the direct sales function over several manufacturers. MISSION To provide consultative sales and marketing to targeted business markets to maximize the overall benefits of the stakeholders (The stakeholders of the organization are the customers, employees, manufacturers and the community). PRINCIPLES The basic principles are we will aggressively represent our manufacturers with ethical and honest communications and place the highest value on morals and integrity in dealing with people and relationships. OBJECTIVES The basic objective is to provide our customers and manufacturers with high quality products, solutions and services by providing the sales and marketing link between the customers and manufacturers we represent. KW Automation is well prepared to manage the territory and account activity for each and every principal. We balance people, processes and technology to help us manage the territory. We have documented a formal Account Management Procedure to assist us in managing our activities. This creates a standard for using our sales automation tools (Goldmine Database, Outlook, and Network Communications) for managing these activities. One of the main software and technology tools that we use is our database. We have a documented process in which to document sales calls and track opportunities for our principals. Our database consists of over 7,000 contacts including OEMs, distributors and integrators. Maintaining the database and using a database process is deemed critical to our success. |
